I was moved by this painting of Christ on a wall at a flea market and its relation to the things around it. There is the circle of light shining forth from Christ's chest, and that circle is repeated many times in this strange gathering of everyday objects. Then, there is the white rope in the shape of a cross holding a music speaker up, and an EXIT sign which could be seen as a comment on mortality. I have religious feeling, but not in the conventional sense. I believe there is a cause to all things. I respect sincerity and kindness, and believe that Christ had it. Perhaps this photograph was my way of saying that his meaning is all around us, within the things we see everyday.
